Craig is the Team Leader of the ILO's Impact Insurance Facility.
He has more than two decades of microfinance experience in both developed and developing countries. In his current position as the chief of the ILO's Social Finance Programme, he focuses on the potential of financial services and policies to achieve social objectives. He serves on the governing board of the Access to Insurance Initiative and was the founding Chair of the Microinsurance Network. He has authored and edited over 40 articles, papers, monographs and training manuals on various microfinance topics including microinsurance, customer loyalty, organizational development, governance, lending methodologies, regulation and supervision, and financial services for the poorest of the poor.
Craig holds an MA from Clark University and a BA from Williams College in Massachusetts, USA.

Chief Project Manager
Michal oversees the operations of the Facility and leads the Research & Innovation and Market Development initiatives.
His work for more than ten years has focused on understanding financial behaviours and improving risk-management options for low-income households. His background includes work with PlaNet Finance in West Africa and with Microfinance Centre (MFC) in Eastern Europe.
Michal holds a PhD in Economics from University of Warsaw and a Master’s degree from Sciences Po (Paris) in Economic Demography.

Aparna supports the different of the activities of the Facility by providing technical inputs. She works primarily in mobile services, bundling insurance with other financial services and analysis and documentation.
She has over six years of experience in technology and management consulting in the public and private sectors. She was the Director of Special Projects at the Financial Access Initiative at New York University, where she led microinsurance research projects.
Aparna holds a Master in Public Administration from New York University and a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Texas.

Knowledge Management Analyst
Camyla supports the implementation of the Facility's knowledge management strategy and capacity building activities
She has previously worked at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brazil, supporting international cooperation activities among higher education institutions and at the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP Geneva in the World Alliance of Cities against Poverty project.
Camyla holds a MA in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva and a BA in International Relations from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.

Aida F. Lindmeier
Aida manages the Facility's Fellowship Programme and supports the team with corporate communication, programme administration, donor relations and coordination of fundraising activities.
She has worked in the capacity of a Press & Public Relations Officer and a Project Specialist for IOM, USAID, United Nations and the European Union.
Aida holds an MSc in European Integration (University of Graz, Austria), Graduate in International Relations (University of Oslo, Norway) and a BSc degree in Journalism (Prishtina, Kosovo).

Lisa supports the different activities of the Facility by providing technical inputs on health insurance, including partnerships between social and private insurance schemes, m-Health, actuarial analysis and strategy development.
Lisa has over 14 years of experience in actuarial consultancy, including 10 years at Milliman and 4 years at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Her expertise includes pricing, reserving and benchmarking in the health insurance industry and budgeting for the UK’s National Health Service. Lisa also has over 8 years of microinsurance experience, working in collaboration with the Facility and the Access to Insurance Initiative on projects in Africa and Asia.
Lisa is a qualified health actuary and Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK. She has a Diploma in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School, London and a BSc in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.

Pranav supports the different of the activities of the Facility by providing technical inputs. He works primarily in agriculture insurance, alternative distribution and mobile services. He is the focal point for Market Development in Asia.
He has more than two decades of experience and has initiated and taken to scale agriculture and health insurance projects amongst low income households in India, utilizing a diverse set of distribution channels and enabling the projects with technology.
Pranav holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies and a bachelor’s honours degree in Economics, both from Delhi University, India

Miguel supports the different of the activities of the Facility by providing technical inputs. He works primarily in alternative distribution and agriculture. He is the focal point for Market Development in Latin America and in some countries in Africa including Senegal and Morocco.
He has extensive experience in a wide set of financial services. He has worked in capital markets at Deutsche Bank in Mexico City and Dresdner Kleinwort in Frankfurt. He also worked for Symbiotics SA in Geneva finding solutions for investors in the microfinance industry.
He holds an MBA from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Koblenz, Germany and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Development and Cooperation from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH).

Senior Knowledge and Capacity Building Officer
Jasmin leads the Knowledge Management and Capacity Building initiative. She manages knowledge management projects, supervises knowledge sharing and dissemination activities including communities of practice, and oversees the development of capacitiy building strategies and tools such as training.
A Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM), Jasmin spent the last twelve years in the field of KM for development, and has acted as KM project manager, trainer, consultant and facilitator for national agencies and international development organizations in Asia and Africa.
She holds an MBA from De La Salle University and a Certificate in Knowledge Management from Knowledge Management Professional Society.

Yoseph's responsibilities at ILO focus on ILO's access to insurance for financial inclusion initiatives.
He served for twenty-four years as CEO of the African Insurance Organization (AIO) covering 42 African countries. He initiated the creation of the Association of African Insurance Supervisory Authorities, the African Reinsurance Forum, the African Regional Rating Scheme and the African Centre for Natural Catastrophe Risks. He has done insurance consulting with multiple international organizations.
Yoseph holds a BBA degree from Addis Ababa University and from Fellow Life Management Institute (FLMI), USA.

Market Development Officer (Based in Senegal)
Moussa is responsible for the design and coordination of the market development strategy of microinsurance in Senegal.
He has over 12 years of professional experience in the field of insurance, risk management and local development gained within various private sector organizations and development agencies.
Engineer in Planning Works, Moussa holds a Master degree in Insurance from the International School of Business Management and Development of Dakar and a Master degree in Economics from University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar.

Lemmy is responsible for the design and coordination of the microinsurance development strategy for Zambia, Tanzania and Kenya.
He has over fifteen years professional experience in research, training and project management for microinsurance with various international organisations. He has published numerous work on microfinance, microinsurance and small enterprise development.
Lemmy holds an MA in International Development from University of Manchester in United Kingdom and a BA in Economics and Demography from University of Zambia.

Alice works with our partners around the globe to test and analyze innovative solutions in microinsurance.
She has worked in insurance and microinsurance with Lloyd's of London and MicroEnsure since 2010. She has worked in international operations, communication and knowledge management.
